The opening session of the World Seafood Congress 2017 started today. Among topics are “Blue Growth” and changes in the seafood industry. Blue Growth the key to obtaining the Sustainable Development Goals in a world where less than 5% of food production comes from the oceans. In order to sustainably grow marine utilization, human capital and collaboration are core elements. How can we develop a strong Blue Forum, where environmental, social and economic challenges can be tackled? A light will be shed on key initiatives and case studies that will inspire further strengthening of the society of marine stakeholders.
