Mike Dillon


Professor Mike Dillon is the Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Productivity, a think tank, publishing house and strategic consultancy based in the UK. Mike is a founding member of IAFI, past President and the current Secretary.


Mike is a world-renowned expert on manufacturing strategy and on the seafood sector and has recently been involved in a number of major international productivity projects. A key area of interest is Seafood Education and Research, he is a UN advisor to FAO in Bangladesh on Seafood Education and Research and as a UNIDO advisor in Indonesia and Pakistan on Blue Economy and Seafood Value Chains including Seaweed, Tuna and Aquaculture certification. Mike is the past CEO of the Humber Seafood Institute and a founding member, as well as past Head of Research and Development at Grimsby Insititute.


Mike is Vice-President of the World Network of Productivity Organizations, a Fellow of the World Academy of Productivity Science.


Mike is the author of a number of books and many journal articles, and is a regular keynote speaker at international conferences.
