Nordic Marine Think Tank

Following education at the Copenhagen Business School (cand. merc. In 1999) and post graduate studies at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium I worked for three year at the Ministry of Fisheries, Copenhagen, Denmark among other things on the EU Common Fisheries Policy. In 1982 started a career with the OECD Paris, France and was appointed in 2001 to Head of the Fisheries Policy Division in charge of the Organisation´s overall work on fisheries and aquaculture policies.  In 1997-98 seconded by the OECD to set up the Marine Stewardship Council, London, UK. Since retiring from the OECD in 2015 I have been consulting on various projects with the FAO (food modelling), the OECD (on ocean economy related issues and fisheries crime) and presently working with the Nordic Marine Think Tank on a fisheries management project sponsored by Nordic Council of Ministers.  Presently the Chair of the board of the Nordic Marine Think Tank.
